Hi! I'm Roberta Zacharjewicz owner and artist of RCMZ Studio. I live and work from my home, which is from many different places in Canada. I'm currently stationed in the big city of Toronto and enjoying the city life. I love noting better then sitting in my big windowed studio sipping on a hot cup of tea while sketching out ideas.

I'm a a mix media freelance illustrator and painter. My process and designs are unique from other artists due to the challenge of having an essential tremor in my hands and arms, but that has never stopped me. My art always starts on paper or canvas ,then I use my photographs, inks, watercolour, acrylics, pencils, pencil crayons, and much more to make my designs.  Once finished my art is then transferred to be finalized on my computer to make it ready for a variety of applications.  I love the challenge of creating art that pushes my artistic boundaries while adding a bit of whimsy.

 

I’m a follower of Jesus Christ, and the joy and hope I find in Him inspires and grows my art and everything I do in my life. My interests include crocheting amigurumi food, learning local history of cities and towns I'm in, genealogy, Christmas Hallmark movies, and vintage 50's clothing.
